Project - Indian Creek Plant Improvements (Tenaska)

Approximately $3.8 million was paid by Tenaska to replace filter beds and increase sludge handling capacity at the Indian Creek Supply Filtration Plant in Dunbar Township.

While this allows MAWC to more reliably deliver approximately 6 million gallons per day to Tenaska, the improved water handling equipment and maintenance means improved water for the entire system.

For additional information about the Tenaska project, be sure to visit the MAWC page about the Tenaska line improvements paid for by Tenaska, and these other links: here and here.
