Water Quality Data

MAWC contracts with Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) to sample both tributary and reservoir sites at the Beaver Run reservoir. Sample results can be accessed at https://lambic.nsm.iup.edu/BeaverRun/index.php/Beaver_Run_Project

MAWC samples the main tributaries of the Youghiogheny River in our Youghiogheny source water protection area. We post the results on Three Rivers Quest mapswhich include Youghiogheny Tributary monitoring water quality data https://3riversquest.wvu.edu/data/3rq-maps

USGS collects continuous water quality data from several gauges within the Youghiogheny watershed. USGS dashboard can be assessed at https://dashboard.waterdata.usgs.gov/app/nwd/?region=lower48

Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection's (PADEP) Clean Water Program provides water quality data on the state's streams at https://www.dep.pa.gov/Business/Water/CleanWater/WaterQuality/Pages/default.aspx

PADEP's eMAP of regulated facilities. This mapping service draws from Pennsylvania Department of Environmental protection data to determine what facilities may be located near you.
